My Dad, Gerald Ray Reineke is 77 as I right this and he's still going strong. Despite the fact he's retired and had a Hip Operation, he still finds the time to invent all sorts of things. He's been a Machinist for almost longer that I've been alive.
One of the hobbies my Dad has is writing poetry. He's been at it all his life. With his conversion as a Christian early in life, he's been an avid writer about his beliefs. He's makes this very clear in his Serious Poetry.
My Parents have been a Pillar of Strength to me, as I don't think I've met anybody who has such a great conviction of their Relationship with the Lord Jesus. My Dad spends a great deal of time writing about he's relationship with his Maker through Poetry. The conviction of the man is unsurpassed.
Death is never a sad moment in our Family. We embrace it as a means to meet our Savior.
Part of the reason I want to share my Dads Poems is because I would like more people to know the type of person my Dad is. Also to share his convictions with the world. I truly believe there aren't many men like this today
